Minor clarification regarding wall glitching. You may not shoot players with guns through collisions. It is allowed to attack them with explosives, flames and melee weapons.

Though, in SvM the "Marios" has nothing to do with that video game character. The gang's name is derived from this.

Skin modding is not exactly easy. I don't think anyone in VCMP can make skins from scratch, so we are limited to add skins available as public mods on GTAForums(or similar sites).

Suggest a mod from GTAForums and we might look into it.

I agree with this one. I did suggest it somewhere before if I remember correctly.
It is really hard for a beginner to fight against a team full of M60s.

Though it would be annoying when someone gets kicked for a ping spike and ends up losing all the cash.

Maybe we can have a system where a player drops all his cash on quit. So, it can be picked up by anyone.
This way, the cash won't be "erased" from the server, so overall economy will stay intact. This will allow players to grant cash to team mates to help their cause, or /q at a secret place and retrieve the cash later.

That problem will always exist in a game mode that awards players for being more experienced or playing better.
Any solution to make stuff balanced?

Maybe, we could add a loan system.
A player could take upto $50k loan, which makes his cash go in negative values.
For every -$1000, the player spawns with 1 less HP on every spawn until he recovers to a positive balance.

So, if I keep spending money and have -$27k, I'll spawn with 73 HP.

They are both equally good depending on the person using it. Some players prefer M4 while others prefer M60, but the fact is none of them is an upgrade over the other. Though M4 has a huge advantage on XE, since it can be used from a crouched position behind a collision. SvM nullifies that advantage with the wall glitch settings.

That is my reasoning for suggesting an equal price.

Yes, very good example.
If a player has unplayable connection but keeps attempting to re-connect, admins may ban to enforce the Ruining Gameplay rule.

Since the prices are from the 0.3z version, they definitely need a modification.
Tear Gas and Chainsaw should not be free anymore.

Is there any other weapon which was useless in 0.3z but should have a price now?

Full list of suggested changes:
M60 should be same price as M4.
All SMGs, Colt and Python should be free.
All weapons that Skins have by default(MP5 specifically) should be free.
Chainsaw should be $200 starting price. The price should change to $100 for Heavy and $0 for Elite Assassin.
Tear Gas should be same price as Molotovs

I got kicked several times yesterday, but I deserved it.
Every time my ping spikes, I run off to a secluded area and wait for it to settle down. We can't expect everyone to be reasonable, so if the server kicks players for jitter it is fair.

In my opinion, lagging is as bad as hacking. Especially in a fast-paced, CQB situations which happens plenty of times in SvM.
We have rules to uphold this(quoted below), so I would prefer if the ping kicker is strict.
Server Rules
  • Ruining Gameplay: Attempting to play with unplayable lag, unstable connection or using VPN is not allowed.

Guidelines
If you were kicked for having an unplayable lag, do not attempt to play anymore without attempting a fix.

Anything above 200 ping is unplayable. 400 is already too generous to account for ping spikes.

True.

So far I've seen only players on sprees being able to afford weapons. Since the loss of cash on death, pickups etc are huge expenses.
Maybe in future, we could go for a 'Money Grab' approach, wherein you lose all cash on /q.
Start from $0-$1000 on every connect(based on ingame rank).

The general idea behind SvM was to revive the old school stubby vs stubby action that has so far been scarce on VCMP 0.4.
We want to diminish the amount of M4s and M60s being sprayed in the server.

All weapons except stubby and shotguns are supposed to be rare.
