Thanks... well according to the poll over 80% agrees with the idea. That being said I see no reason not to implement it. The idea is, long range kills should give out rewards that are so shit that you don't just spam it when you see 2 teammates fighting 1 guy - instead you move in trying to get a shotgun kill, etc. Unless you don't care about money.... then feel free to.

damn, some people should really grab a dictionary before posting here lol.... once again, we're discussing the REWARDS FOR KILLS and not WEAPON PRICES.... the idea is that when you KILL WITH SHOTGUNS you get MORE money than if you KILL WITH M4/M60, to promote using shotguns over long range, which was the whole POINT OF THE SERVER.....thank you

I have some prices in mind if you want:

Since this idea is to lower the rate of m4s and m6s raining around so it should pay less. while it gives middle for stubby and shotguns and gives more for colt/python kills.

Ex: M6 and m4 kill: 50$ or 75$
   
      shotgun and stubby shotgun: 100$
   
      mp5,tec etc..: 100$

      python,colt45: 125$

this would reduce the rate of m4's and m6's in the server so much since no one would prefer 50$ over 150$ or 100$.

If u have better prices then share ur ideas :)
This sounds fine, though I think M4/m60 should stay at 50$.

The m4/m60 excuse doesn't work because if you check the stats there's more long range kills than shotgun ones by a long mile so that's pure horseshit. Not to mention grenades, RPGs, exist as well in case you haven't checked, and taking down a suicide bomber with a shotgun would be easily possible.

Simple: each weapon would give different money reward per kill. So, you finish someone off with Python,  you get a small bonus for it. M4/M60 should pay less to reduce frequent long range spam. Shotguns should pay middle money, while weapons it would be hardest to finish/kill someone with should pay the most. The more the risk, the better the pay

yeah...Nope current  game is just fine as aXXo said this game is originally made to revive the shotgun fights not suiciding action which became scarce in vcmp 0.4 with landmines,carbombs and a vest that explodes. XD

Have you even seen the stats at all? 7000+ kills with M4/M60, compared to 6200 with stubby/shotgun. The only time you can actually have decent shotgun duels is when you're a) playing with total newbies who have no money b) join and theres honorable players (who are very rare) instead of boring scum focused on getting 30 kill sprees with M4

1. You can buy a shahid belt, you will be given a red nickname to notify the players that you're wearing one, then you can suicide bomb yourself near enemy players. The price of it should depend on the damage the explosion causes, but I suggest it to make it 90 or 100+ damage and make it cost something similar to grenades. (Considering you get multiple grenades but you need to use a few of them to kill someone, the belt should be insta kill for a few players around you.) There should be also a time limitation before you receive the vest, so that players who are about to get killed suddenly dont buy it &explode themselves with keybinds.

2. You can purchase a car bomb, works only when inside a vehicle already, a 5 second timer will go off causing a massive chain explosion, a powerful way to push back enemy forces from your base for example when it's under siege. Should cost a bit, is it possible to make kill logs work on it as well?

3. You can buy a landmine, once planted anyone can detonate it by simply firing at it (if walking into it is not possible to detect as it would prolly cause lag) way more useful than remote grenades, since detonating one with an Ingram would be way faster.

Problem with the current system is that newbies will get buttraped before they can make any money to actually buy weps to fight back, if they log in and whole enemy team is spraying m4/m60 his only choice is to camp their spawn with a stubby. Also the biggest nolifes (looking at u Hunting) will have enough money in 2 days of playing to buy any wep for the next three months xD

They are both equally good depending on the person using it. Some players prefer M4 while others prefer M60, but the fact is none of them is an upgrade over the other. Though M4 has a huge advantage on XE, since it can be used from a crouched position behind a collision. SvM nullifies that advantage with the wall glitch settings.

That is my reasoning for suggesting an equal price.
The thing is M4 is useless if one can't go for decent headshots, if you spam it at someone running in single direction he will most likely lose 30 hp max. M60 is more of a universal weapon cause it doesn't require as much skill to do lots of damage.

I think it will unbalance the server way too much if M60 costs the same as M4.
